"A wonderful way to relax and free your mind as you first create your pieces and then return to glaze them.
Trisha is very welcoming and immediately makes you feel at home and at ease in her workshop. She gently guides you through the process, making suggestions whilst letting you find your own way with the clay and glazes.
There are no rules, which is liberating. Trisha is also a great host and ensures her guests are well-watered and fed. Highly recommended."
"I had a wonderfully relaxing and inspiring day with Trisha. She introduced me to the pinch and coil technique and I loved her 'There is no right or wrong' approach!
The time just flew and I came away feeling pampered and nurtured, how could I not after being cooked homemade soup and cookies?!
Trisha is clearly a special lady- sharing her knowledge and experience on so many subjects, not just pottery which only added to the day. I am so looking forward to seeing the pieces glazed. I would recommend this experience to anyone."
"We had a really super day with Trisha and were made to feel so welcome.
This course would be perfect for complete novices as well as those with experience... it felt like a luxury to have a quiet day working with clay and experimenting.
We enjoyed being in the new purpose-built studio, surrounded by inspiration. The setting was idyllic, the teacher was brilliant, the food was delicious and we can't wait to go back for our glazing day.
Highly recommend. Thank you, Trisha!
"Trisha is an experienced potter, full of empathy and compassion. She guides you at your own pace and allows a heuristic approach which enhances mindfulness and creativity.
She is welcoming, warm and kind. Her studio is bright and cosy and her lunchtime soups are wholesome and delicious!"
"I have enjoyed two wonderful days with Trisha in her pottery. The first learning the methods of working with the clay and the second was learning how to glaze the pieces I had made.
Trisha is a brilliant potter herself and her own wonderful pieces along with her very relaxed way of teaching I found really inspiring.
The whole day is a truly relaxing yet very informative experience. Topped off with great coffee, homemade cake, and a delicious lunch.
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who has never worked with clay as well as to potters looking for an inspirational experience. Thank you so much for two wonderful days Trisha and I hope to return soon."
"This is not simply a pottery day. It is a day to shed your everyday stresses and strains and relax with clay.
I highly recommend going with a friend and letting the warmth of Trisha's company wrap you up in good conversation and companionship."
